In order to support our mission as a local support group for attached parents, The Leadership of API of Peoria has implemented an attendance policy. The purpose of the attendance policy is to foster connections and promote relationships among the local attached parents. While the message forums are a fabulous resource, they are not intended to replace the real-life, in person support garnered at the meetings and events during the month.

In any given month, there are between 10-18 opportunities to attend an API of Peoria event. Our events occur on the weekends, during the daytime, and during the evenings. Any officially sanctioned API of Peoria event will qualify. This means that you can attend a Mom's Night Out, a Saturday meeting, a Tuesday evening Integrated Yoga class, a Friday Playdate, BabyBodyBirth classes, etc. Your responsibility is to attend an event once every 6 months. With over 60 events to choose from, everyone should be able to find something to fit their schedule.

Those with a medical or personal need can contact the leadership here to discuss an exemption.

API of Peoria reserves the right to modify this policy as needed. We are looking to this policy helping to foster greater connection and communication among our members. This policy was made effective as of April 1, 2007.

If you are ON or WITHIN this circle, you are not exempt by distance. Because of the ease of getting to Peoria from more populated areas with easy freeway access, we have included those locations on the border of about 45 miles from Peoria.
