API of Peoria...our story API of Peoria began with a few moms who longed to create an Attachment Parenting community. Formal meetings began in December of 1999. Attendance at the first meetings was an average of 5-7 parents. Today a meeting may consist of anywhere from 35-45 families plus their children! Meetings now take place at the Universalist Unitarien church. We also have an active online forum with over 100 users. The leadership team currently consists of Julie Harvey, Angela Loring, and Stephanie Schrader-Lawson.
